Feeling so loved...

Saturday night our sweet neighbors {also know as the Shirettes} hosted a little party for us to help celebrate the upcoming arrival of our little boy. The party was lots of fun, the food was delicious, and the best part was that we just had to walk across the street! Not only was everyone there, but both of our parents were able to celebrate in the fun too!

For those of you who aren't familiar with the "Shirettes", let me introduce you: it's the name we all came up with for each other when we started hanging out regularly...just about a year ago. (Boy time flies, it seems like a lot longer!) We live on Liptonshire Drive, also known as "the shire"... and since it's mostly us ladies doing the hanging, the term "Shirettes" just seemed appropriate. The friendships that we have made are awesome, and we have all turned into a little support system for each other. We are so blessed to live on a street with such great people, and to have a little "village" to help with our growing family! So, we would like to give a BIG thank you to all of our neighbors for putting this together and for Tamara & Jeremy hosting it at their house. Everyone has spoiled us and our kiddos, and we are feeling so very loved right now!!

A Blissful Weekend!

This past weekend was a BLAST! My "bfrys" {otherwise known as Carolyn and Catt} came into town for some much needed hang time! The girls decided to celebrate our lil'bean on the way with a little girls day and pampering on Saturday. (umm, yes please!) So, while the boys had Bridgette and Lily, we were off to the Bliss Spa, a little shopping, and lunch at La Duni. That's right... we were alone without kids or hubbies! Not only was it relaxing, but we finally got to have un-interupted conversations! Boy how I cherish these moments now! :) These girls spoiled me rotten, and I am so thankful to have them in my life!! I got to step out of "mommy-mode" and have a little "Heather-time". So, thank you Catt and Carolyn for an awesome weekend! I love you both, and I hope we don't have to wait as long to do this again!

Carolyn, me, and Catt after our treatments at Bliss... ahhhhhh!

Testing out these cool chairs outside the W while waiting for our car.

And if that weren't enough... we got to experience both sides of the "dinner date". Friday night was the Bloems and Baltzs vs. Marianos restaurant. At one point during dinner, Carolyn and I had a laughing fit while Bridgette and Lily were covered in beans, rice, and banging spoons on the table. We have video to prove just how crazy hectic it was! haha Then Saturday night, my parents took Bridgette while we got to go on a double date with Catt and Jeff. We tried the Porch on Henderson, and it was delicious! Good food, good conversations... all in all it was a great weekend! More pics and video to come...

Just a weekend at home...

It's amazing how much fun we have on a weekend with nothing planned! Of course, now that we have about 7 weeks left before our little boy arrives... we're not planning much of anything :) This weekend we slept in, ran errands, did things around the house, and I finally got to paint the kids names in the nursery! Here's what our weekend looked like in pictures...

...and here's the other. HA! You didn't think we'd actually reveal the name yet, did you??
