39 Weeks + the Bathroom is DONE!

Well....95% done that is. There are a few details we need to add in, but tile is done... toilet and sink are in and both are working... so that's good for me! We were finally able to clean our room and get all of that dust out of there! My mom came yesterday to help me finish cleaning and mopping the floors {thanks mom!} So, with just 2 days to spare ... I think we are ready for our baby girl to arrive! (well, as ready as we'll ever be - ha!)

{Oh, P.S. Just as we were finishing the bathroom on Sunday... the washing machine sounded like it was about to explode and the dryer started overheating. Someone has a sense of humor! All we could do was laugh!}

Professional Belly Pics

Hello Everyone!

Back at the Etsy Show about a month ago, I met a photographer, Jill Wesson, who stopped by my booth. We started talking and she was looking for a graphic designer to help her with a logo she had already started and a new one for another line of photography she was doing. When I met her to go over everything, I realized she had done some other belly shots and photos for other pregnant women. This was something I had thought about, but wasn't sure if I was brave enough to bare my belly. Well... when I saw her work I thought - I've got to do this! So... we did a trade! Jill was so great to work with ... very creative and talented! Here are a few sample pics and the new logo I created for her! Thanks, Jill!

37 Weeks + a Birthdate!

Well, Sunday marked 37 weeks and we are getting more anxious and excited by the minute! We have had a lot going on so we thought we'd update everyone! First off, we have an official birth-date! We will go in the morning of July 2nd to deliver our baby girl. Our doctor has scheduled a c-section because she is still not head down (and continues to move around constantly) and there are more risks involved with me having excess amniotic fluids. So... until then, we will just wait anxiously to finally meet her!

Along with the normal pregnancy things people do in the 37th week... we are still working on getting our master bathroom finished! Oh wait... is that not a normal thing to be working on when your baby could come any day? Riiiiiiggggghhhhht. Well, we are hopeful that all the tile will be DONE this week! Bob has done a great job thus far, but we are bringing in some help to finish up the wall and floor. It's just getting too close and I need to get this house CLEANED! HA! We have a NIECE!!

Last Wednesday, June 10, at 10:07a.m. Bob and I got our first NIECE!! Miss Ava Maria Curtis was 6lbs. 3oz., 18.5 inches long. She is just PERFECT! Mommy, Daddy, and baby are doing just fine and are now back at home as a family! We are so excited for them and can't wait to add a cousin to the mix!

9 Months

Well, I'm in my 36th week... which marks 9 months! I can't believe how fast it's gone, yet at the same time I feel like I've been pregnant FOREVER! We are getting excited to meet our little girl already! Here is a little picture page of how the belly has grown over the last nine months. (I took this idea from one of my FitPregnancy magazines) I look back at some of those first pictures where I thought I was "showing" and think yea right... that's nothing compared to NOW! HA!
