FALL is here!

We had our first taste of the {fall} weather last week, and enjoyed every bit of it! This is my favorite season, and I just can't get enough of the fresh crisp air, the pumpkins, and football on the tv. Since the weather dropped in temperature a bit, we had to bust out some new outfits for Bridgette. Her bff Lily sent her 3 pair of 'baby legs' a while back, and we finally got to test them out. Maybe it's the fact that they look like little dancer leg-warmers, but they are just too cute for words!

Nap time with Uncle Jared

Last week also marked a little MILESTONE for Bridgette. She rolled over! BOTH WAYS! We were able to capture this on video, but haven't had time to download yet. Below are some pictures in action :)

And finally, she had her first little semi-sleepover. We had Marc, Allison, Joey, and Adrienne {along with Miss Caroline} over last Friday night. Well, it was time for the girls to go to bed and we were still having fun, so we put them in the crib together! At the rate these girls are growing, I don't think we'll be able to do this much longer...

11 Weeks and Growing

The weeks seem to be flying by over here! Bridgette is constantly showing us something new she can do or making a new face that melts our hearts. She is holding her head up more and starting to hold onto things (whether it be our finger, my hair, or her bottle). Here are a few highlights from last week.

One night Bob went to pick her up and put her to bed... and she didn't budge at all! ha :)

This was tummy time one night on the couch, and Chester just had to be a part of it ...

Cooking with Mommy

The other night we pulled out the Bumbo seat to see how Bridgette did sitting up. She was in the kitchen "helping" me cook dinner :) She liked the seat for a few minutes ... enough to do a little whisking in a bowl. Ha-ha. I think I have a future sous-chef on my hands! Get ready Mimi and Vovo - she'll be ready to cook with ya'll in no time!

Labor Day Weekend

Last weekend was a blast with the 3 day weekend, family in town, and lots of festivities! Bridgette got to play with her Uncle Jared, who was in town for a wedding, and Tia Marthi (a.k.a. Aunt Martha) who came up for the long weekend! They each got plenty of "cuddle" and hang out time with their niece!

Sunday night was "Picnic in the Park" at the Arboretum, so we packed some great food and met my parents and some friends there. We sat on the lawn and listened to The Dallas Symphony Orchestra until sunset. It was a lot of fun, but could have been 10 degrees cooler!
